On June 26th, Dhoritri Rokkhay Amra (DHORA) and Waterkeepers Bangladesh organized rallies and demonstrations in Cox’s Bazar Sadar, Pekua, and Maheshkhali upazilas to protest against the financing of the fossil fuel sector by three Japanese megabanks: Mizuho Financial Group, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. (SMBC). APMDD coordinated the event all over Asia.
